Snowday — Victorian Winter Fun Brought to Life

Step back into the charm of a 19th-century winter with Snowday, a candle wrapped in authentic vintage art from one of Philadelphia’s historic dry-goods merchants, Cooper & Conard. In the late 1800s, their beautifully illustrated trade cards were cherished keepsakes—kept in albums, tucked into letters, and treasured for their colorful seasonal scenes.

The artwork on Snowday features two children pushing an enormous snowball as a little dog bounds beside them, capturing everything Victorian families adored: childhood innocence, outdoor fun, and richly printed lithography that made store cards tiny works of art.
