Hi there, and welcome to the very first Retrovert Candles blog post, and thank You for Joining the Retrovert Story! If you’re just discovering us, Retrovert Candles is a small-batch candle company that brings vintage-inspired art and sustainable, clean-burning candles together in one place. Every candle is hand-poured with a coconut-apricot wax blend, made with phthalate-free, paraben-free fragrances, and designed with labels inspired by everything from Art Nouveau and Art Deco to antique textiles and architectural details.

In short, our candles look like art, smell amazing, and are safe for your home.

Why Retrovert?

The name Retrovert comes from the idea of “going back.” For us, it means going back to the timeless artistry of the past. Think Renaissance, Rococo, Victorian, Gilded Age, and more while also going back to a more sustainable, mindful way of living. Retrovert Candles is all about vintage charm meeting modern sustainability.

• Our eco-friendly candles are made with a clean-burning coconut-apricot wax that lasts longer than many traditional options.

• All fragrances are phthalate-free and paraben-free, making them hypoallergenic and pet-safe.

• Every candle is handcrafted in small batches in the USA with only American-sourced components.
